Diploma of Leadership and Management

The full fee for the Diploma of Leadership and Management is $5,500. However, State Government funding may be available for eligible individuals — the program may be supported by Victorian State Government funding or subsidised by the NSW Government subject to eligibility, and new employees may also be eligible for Commonwealth Government Funding. It is required that learners be employed by a business in a position that allows them to demonstrate application of skills required by the program. Learners may need access to the internet for on-line research and activities, and LLN will be assessed prior to course commencement.

Assessment methods include written/verbal questions, workplace practical/simulation tasks, observation of the learner carrying out work practices, case studies, project work, workplace observations, and workplace supervisors' reports.

Yes. Students who believe they have sufficient past experience to demonstrate full competence against particular units may apply for RPL using the forms and processes available from the TME office. Students may also apply for credit transfer for any units completed in prior qualifications, including for the elective units.

BSB50420 Diploma of Leadership and Management requires completion of 12 units of competency, which include both core and elective units covering areas such as emotional intelligence, operational planning, business risk, continuous improvement, and team effectiveness.
