The course is delivered 20 hours a week using both online and face-to-face learning environments. Face-to-face learning is a classroom-based setting that includes the simulation of the workplace-based environment, while the online learning component makes up 1/3 of the course and is delivered via a Learning Management System (LMS). Students can access the LMS by logging in with their username and password.
Students who complete this course may wish to continue their education into the BSB60420 Advanced Diploma of Leadership and Management or a range of Advanced Diploma qualifications, as well as higher education qualifications in business or management.
The BSB50420 Diploma of Leadership and Management requires the successful completion of 12 units, which includes 6 core units and 6 elective units. Units have been selected in accordance with the packaging rules and are relevant to the work outcome, local industry requirements and qualification level.
Assessment in this course is conducted through a combination of essays, report writing, projects, portfolios, observations, presentations, and questioning (oral or written). International students are also required to maintain satisfactory course progress to meet visa requirements.
