Diploma of Leadership and Management

The course runs for a total of 52 weeks, comprising 40 weeks of training and assessment spread across 4 terms of 10 weeks each, plus 12 weeks of holidays. Intakes are available in January, April, July, and October 2024.

Applicants must meet one of the following English language requirements: IELTS (Academic) overall score of 5.5; TOEFL IBT 46; Cambridge English Advanced (CAE) 162; or PTE Academic 42 or equivalent. English language competence can also be demonstrated through documented evidence such as a minimum of five years of study in English in certain countries, or completion of an AQF level 4 or higher qualification in Australia.

The BSB50420 Diploma of Leadership and Management is delivered at two campus locations: Parkville, Melbourne and Pyrmont, Sydney.

The Training Package requires that entry to this qualification is limited to those who have completed a Diploma or Advanced Diploma from the BSB Training Package (current or superseded equivalent versions), or have two years equivalent full-time relevant workplace experience in an operational or leadership role in an enterprise. Academically, applicants should have successfully completed Year 12 and be at least 18 years of age at the time of course commencement.

Students who complete the BSB50420 Diploma of Leadership and Management may wish to continue their education into the BSB60420 Advanced Diploma of Leadership and Management or a range of Advanced Diploma qualifications, as well as higher education qualifications in leadership and management.
