One third of your life is spent at work, so it’s important to foster good relationships with your coworkers. You will learn how to successfully lead and manage workplace relationships within this unit and create a productive environment.
Develop and use emotional intelligence
Emotional Intelligence is the ability to understand and respond appropriately to your own and other’s emotions. Learn how to identify the impact of your emotions on others in the workplace, recognise and appreciate the emotional strengths and weaknesses of others, promote the development of emotional intelligence in others and utilise emotional intelligence to maximise team outcomes.
Manage business operational plans
The operations of a business is integral to success. Within this unit you will learn how to develop and monitor the implementation of operational plans to support efficient and effective workplace practices and organisational productivity and profitability.

The course duration is 58 weeks, comprising 42 weeks of study, 4 weeks of supervised study, and 12 weeks of holidays.
Students must meet one of the following: Upper Intermediate English level or higher; Certificate IV or higher qualification completed in Australia; IELTS 5.5–6.0 or equivalent; TOEFL: 72–94; Cambridge (FCE/CAE): acceptable scores; TOEIC: Listening 400–485, Reading 385–450; or Entrepreneur Education English Test (Upper Intermediate level). All English test results must be valid within two years.
Students who have completed equivalent units with another provider may apply for Credit Transfer. Eligible applicants must submit certified documents during enrolment. Approved credits may reduce the overall course duration.
Students are required to have continuous access to a personal laptop for both in-class and distance learning activities. All required materials must be purchased by students.
