For overseas students whose first language is not English, an overall IELTS score of 6.0 or equivalent is required. Alternatively, students may pass an Abbey College Australia entry test designed to assess the level of English proficiency.
After achieving this qualification, candidates may undertake BSB60520 Advanced Diploma of Marketing and Communication or a range of other Advanced Diploma qualifications.
The course is delivered in a Blended mode (Face to Face + Online), with 15 hours of face-to-face learning and 5 hours of online learning on a weekly basis, except during term breaks, totalling 20 hours per week.
If you do not hold BSB42415 Certificate IV in Marketing and Communication, you may qualify by having completed specific units including BSBCMM411, BSBCRT412, BSBMKG433, BSBMKG435, BSBMKG439, and BSBWRT411 (or equivalent competencies), or by having two years of equivalent full-time relevant work experience. You must also be 18 years or older and have satisfactorily completed Year 12 of secondary education or its equivalent.
With relevant working experience, graduates may gain employment in roles such as Marketing Manager / Team Leader, Sales / Product Manager, Campaign Manager, and Public Relations Manager in the management and commerce field.
