To be eligible, students must be 18 years or older, meet English language requirements (Academic IELTS 6.0 overall with no band below 5.5 or equivalent), and have completed Year 12 or an AQF Certificate IV qualification. Additionally, students must have completed the BSB40820 Certificate IV in Marketing Communication (or equivalent units), or have two years of equivalent full-time relevant work experience. A valid Australian student visa (subclass 500) or eligible visa is also required.
The total duration is 52 weeks, comprising 40 weeks of study and 12 weeks of scheduled term breaks, delivered 100% face-to-face at the Training Masters campus in Sydney at a study load of 20 hours per week.
Graduates can pursue mid-level to senior roles in marketing and communication across industries such as advertising, retail, media, hospitality, healthcare, professional services, tech startups, large corporations, non-profit organisations, and education and training institutions. Possible job titles include Marketing Coordinator, Digital Marketing Specialist, Social Media Manager, Advertising Account Executive, Public Relations Officer, Marketing Manager, Brand Manager, Content Marketing Manager, Market Research Analyst, and Campaign Manager.
On completion of this qualification, candidates may choose to undertake the BSB60520 Advanced Diploma of Marketing and Communication or other Advanced Diploma qualifications from the BSB Training Package or any other training package to further enhance their career opportunities in their chosen field.
The Training Masters campus is located within the city of Sydney, just 5 minutes' walk from Town Hall Railway Station.
