To enrol, you must have successfully completed all core units (or equivalent competencies) of BSB40820 Certificate IV in Marketing and Communication, have two years of equivalent full-time relevant work experience, have completed Australian Year 12 or equivalent, and be at least 18 years of age at course commencement. International learners must also demonstrate an IELTS score of 5.5 with no skills band less than 5 or equivalent.
The course runs for 52 weeks including term breaks, delivered across 4 terms, and is available at both the Sydney and Melbourne campuses.
Graduates of the Diploma of Marketing and Communication can pursue roles such as Digital Marketing Coordinator, Social Media Coordinator, Content Creator, and Social Media Influencer.
The course covers a range of topics including Data-Driven Marketing (BSBMKG542, BSBMKG541), Customer Journey Design (BSBCRT511, BSBMKG552), Managing Marketing Projects (BSBPMG430), Copywriting Essentials (BSBPEF501, BSBMKG555), Social Media Marketing (BSBMKG546, BSBMKG551), Digital Marketing Strategy (SIRXMKT007), and personal development units (BSBPEF502, BSBCRT512).
The course is delivered in a blended mode at two campuses: Sydney Startup Hub, Level 7, 11-31 York Street, Sydney NSW 2000, and Melbourne CBD, Level 7, 118 Queen Street, Melbourne VIC 3000.
