The course duration is 52 weeks (1 year), made up of four (4) x ten (10) week terms plus twelve (12) weeks of holidays.
You must be aged 18 or over, have completed Year 12 or equivalent, and have either completed BSB42415 Certificate IV in Marketing and Communication (or specified equivalent units such as BSBCRT412, BSBMKG433, BSBMKG435, BSBMKG439, BSBWRT411) or have two years of equivalent full-time relevant work experience. International students must also meet English language requirements, such as an IELTS score of 5.5 or equivalent.
The course is delivered through a combination of face-to-face and online study. Students attend 15 hours of face-to-face teaching per week over 2 days on campus (7.5 hours x 2 days with one hour break), 5 hours of online study per week (on campus or off-site), and 10 hours of self-study per week.
Graduates may be employed in a variety of roles including Product Manager, Public Relations Manager, Marketing Manager, Campaign Manager, Marketing Coordinator, and Marketing Team Leader.
To be issued the qualification BSB50620 Diploma of Marketing and Communication, you must be assessed as competent in all 12 units of competency, which includes 5 core units and 7 elective units.
