Common Questions
International students must be over 18 years of age, have an IELTS score of 6.0 or equivalent English proficiency, and have completed BSB40820 Certificate IV in Marketing and Communication, or equivalent units, or have two years of relevant work experience.
The Diploma of Marketing and Communication (BSB50620) is a 78-week course, equivalent to 1.5 years of study, offered at the Ultimo, Sydney campus.
The onshore tuition fee is $7,000 (at $875 per term) and the offshore tuition fee is $8,000 (at $1,000 per term). A material fee of $200 applies for both onshore and offshore students, and there is no fee for the online mode.
Graduates may progress to the BSB60520 Advanced Diploma of Marketing and Communication or a Bachelor of Marketing or related degree programs, in addition to pursuing employment in roles such as Marketing Manager, Digital Marketing Specialist, Marketing Communications Coordinator, or Market Research Analyst.
There are 7 intakes per year. For 2026, the intake dates are 23 February, 13 April, 25 May, 13 July, 24 August, 12 October, and 23 November.
