Fees vary depending on the subjects you enrol into, and TAFE SA reserves the right to make any changes necessary. Fee updates will be available prior to offers being made. Students may also be eligible for a VET Student Loan, which is an interest-free personal loan from the Australian Government that provides eligible students access to capped funding to help pay for their studies.
The Diploma of Marketing and Communication is available via Virtual Classroom (online classes delivered through Collaborate, a web-based real-time virtual classroom) at the Scheduled Virtual Classroom location, and as a Blended mode (mixture of classroom and online environments) at Adelaide City campus. An Existing Worker (Workplace) option is also available at Adelaide City for those currently employed in the industry who do not hold a formal qualification, where the duration is determined by your individual study plan. All modes offer Full and Part Time study.
If you do not hold the following 6 entry units or equivalent competencies, you will need to complete them as part of the Diploma at an additional cost: BSBCMM411 Make presentations, BSBCRT412 Articulate, present and debate ideas, BSBMKG433 Undertake marketing activities, BSBMKG435 Analyse consumer behaviour, BSBMKG439 Develop and apply knowledge of communications industry, and BSBWRT411 Write complex documents. Yes. TAFE SA has a Credit Transfer agreement with a university for this qualification. Graduates of the Diploma of Marketing and Communication (BSB50620) may receive 48 credits toward the Bachelor of Business (Marketing) (144 total units), with guaranteed admission available. Credit Transfer is the formal recognition that parts of a TAFE SA course are equivalent in content and level to parts of some University courses.
Applications for Award Courses are made online through SATAC and are free of charge. Applicants can make one application for up to three course preferences. Admission requirements include completion of a Language, Literacy and Numeracy Assessment (LLN). If there are more applications than places available, applicants will be ranked by date of application. Note that this course has received a large number of applications and a place may not be available in a given intake. Applicants must be Australian Residents; international students should visit the TAFE SA International Courses page.

Honestly I was lost when I first started looking at Australian colleges. There are just too many options and every agent gives you different info. A friend told me about FindTheCourses and within a week I had shortlisted 3 programs that actually matched my budget and visa situation. My advisor Sanjay was super helpful — never felt like I was being pushed into anything.
