Entry to this qualification is limited to those individuals who have completed core units in Diploma of Marketing and Communication BSB50620, or specific core units including BSBMKG541, BSBMKG542, BSBMKG552, BSBMKG555, and BSBPMG430. Alternatively, applicants may qualify with four years of equivalent full-time relevant work experience.
For government subsidised students, the tuition fee is $5,450 with a maximum annual amenities fee of $260, making the total payable $5,710. For non-subsidised students, the tuition fee is $8,100 with a maximum annual amenities fee of $260, totalling $8,360. Students may also be eligible for a VET Student Loan.
Successful completion of the Advanced Diploma of Marketing and Communication will enable you to enrol in Melbourne Polytechnic's Bachelor of Business with up to 12 subjects credited towards completion of the degree.
A combination of assessment methods will be used including reports, assignments, presentations, case studies, and industry or simulated industry work experience. Classes are scheduled as per timetable with a minimum of two days per week.
This qualification is the ideal first step into the management tier of the marketing industry. Graduates may work as a Marketing Assistant, Marketing Administrative Assistant, or Assistant Marketing Manager, and may work in marketing management, research or planning, in direct marketing, services marketing, or even start their own marketing business.
