You will learn how to establish the organisation's marketing and communication plans, undertake project work, manage business risk, and identify and evaluate marketing opportunities. Along the way, you may also develop strong communication skills, creativity, team leadership abilities, and skills in developing rapport with clients and customers.
Every student must demonstrate completion of the BSB40820 Certificate IV in Marketing and Communications delivered and assessed in English, which meets both the academic and English language entry requirements. Alternatively, students who have completed specific units including BSBCMM411, BSBCRT412, BSBMKG433, BSBMKG435, BSBMKG439, and BSBWRT411 (or equivalent competencies) delivered and assessed in English will also meet the entry requirements.
Yes, recognition is available on application to students with prior skills, experience, knowledge or qualifications obtained from formal studies or training in a related area. Recognition may reduce the duration of your studies.
On completion of the BSB50620 Diploma of Marketing and Communication, students may pursue the BSB60520 Advanced Diploma of Marketing and Communication, or the BSB60120 Advanced Diploma of Business, or the BSB60420 Advanced Diploma of Leadership and Management at WIN College, or gain advanced standing in an undergraduate degree at Wentworth Institute of Higher Education.
The course has a duration of 52 weeks, which includes 14 weeks of scheduled breaks. Please refer to the Academic Calendar for the specific dates of breaks.
