Yes. The Diploma of Music is a direct pathway to the Bachelor of Music degree. All completed Diploma units are credited, and you can apply to continue your studies as a second-year Bachelor of Music student.
For domestic students, the indicative fees are: Study Period 1: $9,126, Study Period 2: $9,126, Study Period 3: $6,084, with an indicative total course fee of $25,200. For international students, the fees are: Study Period 1: $10,710, Study Period 2: $10,710, Study Period 3: $7,140, with an indicative total course fee of $28,560. Fees are indicative only and subject to change. FEE-HELP is available for eligible domestic students.
The Diploma of Music is offered at AIM's Sydney and Melbourne campuses. It is available with start dates in February, May, and September each year.
The Diploma of Music consists of 3 Study Periods and takes 1 year to complete full-time, or an equivalent duration part-time.
There is no stated requirement for prior music experience, however applicants to the Diploma of Music should provide a resume outlining any previous musical study, and/or practical music experiences and achievements.
