Adult students will be required to come in for two full days per week, spending 20 hours on instruction in total, with extra time allocated for private practice, rehearsals and performances. High school students will either undertake the qualification at school during 9-week school terms, or attend campus one to two days a week, with additional hours per week allocated to private practice, rehearsals, performances and attendance of concerts.
Yes, the Diploma of Music can provide up to 8 credit points toward the Queensland Certificate of Education (QCE). ATAR equivalents vary depending on the university or institution you wish to gain entry into, so it is recommended you visit the relevant university or institution's website for more information.
This course is not recommended for Grade 12 students, as the course study will clash with units 3 and 4 of QCAA content. Additionally, only students with outstanding skills in their musical instrument or voice may gain entry to this course.

Honestly I was lost when I first started looking at Australian colleges. There are just too many options and every agent gives you different info. A friend told me about FindTheCourses and within a week I had shortlisted 3 programs that actually matched my budget and visa situation. My advisor Sanjay was super helpful — never felt like I was being pushed into anything.
