Diploma of Music

The Diploma of Music comprises one of the three stages of SAE's Bachelor of Music degree, providing a clear pathway for further study. It can also be completed as a standalone seven-month crash course to get students into entry-level industry roles even sooner.

The Diploma of Music can be completed in 2 Trimesters Full Time on a fast-track basis, or 3 Trimesters Full Time at a standard pace. A part-time option is also available, with the flexibility to change your study load throughout your course if needed.

The Diploma of Music is available at SAE's Adelaide, Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth, and Sydney campuses.

Students are guided by expert mentors as they create music for games, TV and film, and live performances, all while collaborating with SAE students from other creative disciplines. Graduates leave with a portfolio of work to share with prospective employers or clients.

Yes. The Diploma of Music provides a clear pathway for further study, as it comprises one of the three stages of SAE's Bachelor of Music degree. Students who complete the Diploma can continue on to the Associate Degree of Music and ultimately the Bachelor of Music.
