Common Questions
EQUALS offers two study modes: Study Mode A (Campus-Based Learning, 78–91 weeks) is best suited for international and domestic students seeking a traditional classroom experience with regular on-campus attendance and structured face-to-face learning. Study Mode B (Blended Learning with Campus Sessions) is available to domestic students only and combines flexible online learning components with scheduled campus-based workshops, designed for work-life-study balance and suitable for students outside metropolitan areas.
For domestic students, the tuition fee is $20,000 (or $12,500 under government subsidised training), with an additional Work Integrated Learning Fee of $4,900, and an Amenities Fee of $350. For international students, the tuition fee is $33,900, with a Work Integrated Learning Fee of $4,900, a Student Services Fee of $250, and an Amenities Fee of $350.
Students participate in a minimum of 400 hours of structured Work Integrated Learning where skills, knowledge and attitudes are developed as you work towards developing your nursing practice.
Yes. Credit or recognition for previous nursing or health experience may apply for eligible students. If you have related prior education and experiences, you may be eligible for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL). Honestly I was lost when I first started looking at Australian colleges. There are just too many options and every agent gives you different info. A friend told me about FindTheCourses and within a week I had shortlisted 3 programs that actually matched my budget and visa situation. My advisor Sanjay was super helpful — never felt like I was being pushed into anything.
