The tuition fee is $28,027, with an upfront cost of $1,400 required prior to commencement of the course after receiving a letter of offer. VET Student Loans are available for eligible students. FOX Education also offers a pay as you go service, with fees payable through direct bank deposits or at their office.
Additional costs include closed-in black shoes, an Ochre Card issued by SAFE NT, black business pants, any additional vaccinations required, a fob watch with second hand, printing/photocopying at 10c per page, a criminal history check issued by SAFE NT, replacement clinical manual or ID card, and textbooks purchased at an additional cost. Students will be issued with 2 uniform shirts prior to commencement of the first clinical placement.
Yes. The Bachelor of Nursing is offered by Flinders University College of Nursing and Health Services. Enrolled nurses registered with the NMBA and holding a Diploma of Nursing may be eligible for up to 36 units of credit toward the Bachelor of Nursing, which requires the successful completion of 108 units of study and leads to eligibility for registration as a nurse with the NMBA.
The target client groups include existing workers in the care service industry, mature aged individuals including health workers from fields other than nursing, those with a previous nursing qualification and lapsed nursing registration, school leavers, and trainees.
25 competency units are required for the award of this qualification, including 20 compulsory units and 5 elective units, which have been chosen through industry consultation.
