Entry Requirements

General Requirements

Entry into The Australian Ballet School Training Program is by audition only
Students are selected based on their suitability for vocational classical ballet training
An applicant's age will be taken into consideration; generally, successful applicants will be between 15 and 17 years of age
All applicants are expected to have completed a minimum education standard of Year 9 secondary schooling or equivalent
Students who have not completed a Diploma Level qualification or year 12 or equivalent will be required to undertake a DEWR approved literacy and numeracy test prior to enrolment
Overseas students must satisfy Vocational English requirements in order to obtain a Student Visa
