The BSB50820 – Diploma of Project Management is delivered over 60 academic weeks plus 18 weeks of holidays, for a total enrolment period of 78 weeks.
Mindroom's course entry standard is IELTS 6.0 (or equivalent). They also accept a recent Certificate IV or higher completed in Australia as meeting the course English standard. For student visa (Subclass 500) purposes, accepted tests include IELTS Academic or General Training (average band 6.0), PTE Academic (47), TOEFL iBT (67 total), OET (B in each component), C1 Advanced CAE (161), CELPIP General (7), LanguageCert Academic (61), and MET (53).
Flexible study options are available for domestic students, including 100% online and self-paced or blended learning formats. Domestic students can complete their studies entirely online and access one-on-one support sessions with a trainer whenever they need assistance. Domestic students can also start at any time.
This diploma prepares you to lead and coordinate projects in a range of organisations. Graduates may seek roles such as Project Coordinator / Project Officer, Project Administrator / Program Administrator, Project Team Leader / Project Lead, and Junior / Assistant Project Manager across sectors including IT and digital projects, business improvement and change, construction and fit-out projects, marketing, events and creative industries, and community, education and not-for-profit projects.
At Mindroom, graduates may choose to continue developing their skills with courses such as BSB50420 – Diploma of Leadership and Management or ICT50220 – Diploma of Information Technology (for project and business analysis in tech environments), subject to meeting each course's specific entry requirements. Beyond Mindroom, this AQF Level 5 qualification may support applications to advanced diplomas or bachelor degrees in business, management, IT or related areas, subject to each institution's entry requirements.
