Entry Requirements

General Requirements

Educational Background

Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
Successful completion of Australian Year 12 or its equivalent from an overseas institution.
A Certificate IV in Information Technology, or completion of other BSB/ICT or equivalent related courses, is preferable.
Participation in a course entry interview is required to assess suitability for the course and address individual student needs.

Language Proficiency Applicants must provide evidence of English language proficiency through one of the following options:

IELTS (International English Language Testing System): Overall score of 6.0 with no individual band less than 5.5. The test result must be no more than 2 years old.
TOEFL iBT (Test of English as a Foreign Language): Internet-based test with a score of 60 or above.
PTE (Pearson Test of English) Academic: Score of 50 or above.
Cambridge English: Advanced (CAE): From Cambridge ESOL with test scores of 169 or above.
Successful completion of AQF Level Certificate IV or above.
Satisfactory completion of ELICOS studies at the upper intermediate level or above.
