Course Content
Communication and Negotiations
Covers effective communication with individuals and groups from different cultural backgrounds, identifying negotiation opportunities, addressing conflicts, and understanding challenges when individuals, groups and organisations face potential or existing conflict. Explores negotiation strategies, tactics to solve ongoing differences, and models for securing cooperation and agreement in competitive environments.
People, Culture and Agile Leadership
Develops understanding of the influence culture, politics and power have on organisational behaviour. Introduces agile leadership and team dynamics, including the Clifton Strengths Finder Assessment, to help students understand what makes people and organisations do what they do and how to lead through difficult times with flexibility, responsiveness and collaboration.
Organisational Context and Roles in Project Management
Covers the internal and external organisational context in which projects are formed, executed, supported and evaluated. Discusses engagement with project stakeholders and the impact organisational context has on defining roles, responsibilities and collaboration required by a project team for successful project delivery.
Project Management Principles
Provides insights and principles of best practices in project management, including standards associated with successful project management as recognised by professional bodies such as the Project Management Institute and the Australian Institute of Project Management. Students explore project management processes and develop skills to professionally manage a range of projects.
Project Management Domains (Tools and Techniques)
Covers project management domains — groups of related activities critical for effective delivery of project outcomes — and the tools and techniques available for project management, including their purpose, when to use them, and how to select the most effective tools based on project domains and desired outcomes.
Organisation Change Management
Prepares students to anticipate, plan and deliver organisational change, including identifying appropriate interventions to maximise benefits and minimise risk. Uses ad-hoc simulations to develop diagnostic and action-planning skills for leading strategic change, overcoming resistance, and identifying common missteps of change agents.
Minor Corporate Study - Initiation of a Project
Focuses on the aspects of project initiation including selection of the project manager, collection of historical information, division of large projects into phases, identification of stakeholders, initial constraints, assumptions and risks, and collection of agreements. Students explore organisational governance, procedures and policies through practical exercises to develop project management skills.
Contracts Management and Ethics
Introduces the fundamentals of contract management and ethics as they relate to project management. Students develop understanding of various contract types, processes to identify and select the right contract, contract terms and conditions, potential issues, and ethical considerations to avoid risks and conflicts.

Honestly I was lost when I first started looking at Australian colleges. There are just too many options and every agent gives you different info. A friend told me about FindTheCourses and within a week I had shortlisted 3 programs that actually matched my budget and visa situation. My advisor Sanjay was super helpful — never felt like I was being pushed into anything.
