Within this unit you will learn how to create & utilise TeamGantt program which will assist determining and implementing the project schedule, managing your time efficiently.
Manage project quality
This unit covers methods and theories surrounding the application of continuous improvement in any given workplace environment. You will learn these theories and apply them to a variety of case study scenarios. This unit is about the practical application of these theories and selecting an appropriate method of improvement that will benefit a company, business structure, major project or individual.
Manage project cost
In this unit you will develop the skills and knowledge required to identify, analyse and refine project costs to produce a budget. You will also learn to use this budget as the principal mechanism to control project cost.
Manage project human resources
This unit involves planning for human resources, implementing personnel training and development, and managing the project team. It applies to individuals responsible for managing and leading a project in an organisation, business, or as a consultant.
Manage project information and communication
Be the linchpin in any project by learning how to link people, ideas and information at all stages in the project life cycle. Common Questions
The course runs for 58 weeks in total, comprising 42 weeks of study, 4 weeks of supervised study, and 12 weeks of holidays. Intakes are available monthly, giving you flexibility in when you begin.
Students must meet one of the following English requirements: Upper Intermediate English level or higher, a Certificate IV or higher qualification completed in Australia, IELTS 5.5–6.0 or equivalent, TOEFL 72–94, Cambridge (FCE/CAE) acceptable scores, TOEIC Listening 400–485 and Reading 385–450, or the Entrepreneur Education English Test at Upper Intermediate level. All English test results must be valid within two years.
The course is delivered in a blended format, with 15 hours per week of face-to-face learning at the Gold Coast Campus and 5 hours per week of distance learning, totalling 20 hours of study per week.
Yes, students may be eligible for Credit Transfer if they have completed equivalent units with another provider. Certified documentation must be submitted during enrolment, and approved credits may reduce the overall course duration.
Graduates of the Diploma of Project Management may pursue roles such as Project Manager, Project Lead, Project Controller, Account Manager, Project Consultant, or Project Team Member.
