Students will have access to TAFE NSW's high-quality facilities, including film studios and professional video editing labs, providing hands-on practical experience throughout the course.
The course fee for international students ranges from $19,525 to $21,510 AUD. Additional costs for uniforms, equipment, textbooks and materials range from $300 to $1,000 AUD per course.
Through a mix of theory and practical coursework, you will learn to record and edit video and sound, create digital animations, operate cameras, direct creative projects, and develop scripts. You will also develop creative thinking, critical and creative problem solving, adaptability, collaboration, and communication skills.
After completing the diploma, you can pursue vocational study pathways with other TAFE NSW courses, continue to a TAFE NSW degree, or use your qualification to gain entry to one of TAFE NSW's university partnership programs, which offer guaranteed entry and credit transfer to eligible students. You may also gain entry to other universities using your TAFE NSW qualifications.
You are required to complete 4 core units plus 11 elective units, of which at least 9 must be from Groups A, B or C, and up to 2 units may be from Groups A, B, C, or D or from any currently endorsed Certificate IV or above training package qualification or accredited course.
