Yes, mid-year entry is available for the Diploma of Screen and Media. Students may also elect to study individual subjects offered in the course without completing the entire Diploma.
Yes, the Queensland School of Film and Television offers a Scholarship for school-leavers applying for the Diploma of Screen and Media Program. To be eligible, applicants must be enrolled in the Diploma of Screen and Media Program, be a current Year High School Graduate, be an Australian Citizen/resident, provide an Expression of Interest (up to 300 words), provide a Portfolio of Work, and have undertaken media related subjects. Selection is based on passion for film and television, goals, career objectives, and quality of portfolio.
Due to flexible payment plans, tuition fees are provided upon discussion with one of the QSFT staff. Interest-free payment plans and extended payment instalment schedules via a 3rd party financial provider are also available.
Graduates of the Diploma of Screen and Media can pursue careers as Directors of Photography, Camera Operators, Gaffers, Assistant Directors, Art Directors, Directors, Producers, Editors, Editing Assistants, Sound Recordists, Post-Production Assistants, and Runners.
