Course Overview

About This Course

Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are a global commitment, and learning and applying sustainable practices is central to managing businesses responsibly. By studying the Diploma of Sustainable Operations, students learn how to identify sustainability issues within different industries and apply that knowledge to improve the economic, social and environmental performance of any business operation.

This qualification specifies the skills and knowledge required to measure current sustainability performance across an organisation and to establish processes for improved sustainability performance. It applies to job roles with a focus on sustainability at a managerial or technician level of responsibility, authority and autonomy, liaising with senior management and other stakeholders to drive and influence change across an organisation.

This qualification has no formal entry requirement due to the wide variety of sustainability applications in industry; however, most enterprises expect learners to hold operational or technical skills and experience in a vocational field, and it is not recommended for direct entry from school.

Hear From the Students

Honestly I was lost when I first started looking at Australian colleges. There are just too many options and every agent gives you different info. A friend told me about FindTheCourses and within a week I had shortlisted 3 programs that actually matched my budget and visa situation. My advisor Sanjay was super helpful — never felt like I was being pushed into anything.
