Successful completion of this course will qualify you to work as a travel or tourism manager. Specific roles include Tour Operations Manager, Travel Agency Manager, Marketing Manager, and Sales Manager.
The course is available on campus at South Bank (full time, up to 4 days per week), online self-directed (part time, approx 15 hours per week, up to 18 months), and online virtual classroom (part time, 2 x 3 hour evening Zoom sessions per week, 1 year). An international study option is also available.
Fees vary depending on your study mode and eligibility. For eligible students, concession fees range from $5,520 to $7,730, subsidised fees range from $6,670 to $8,880, and full fees range from $10,465 to $12,675. International students pay $15,200 in total course fees.
The online virtual classroom provides 100% virtual delivery without any on-campus commitments. To successfully achieve this qualification, you are required to complete all core units and 10 elective units. Core units cover topics including leading diversity and inclusion, managing risk to organisational reputation in an online setting, customer service, conflict management, financial management, leading and managing people, monitoring work operations, establishing business relationships, and implementing work health and safety practices.
