The style of yoga taught is called Shanti Yoga®, which is integrated yoga made easy. Shanti Yoga incorporates the physical aspects of hatha yoga and amalgamates it with all the other yoga paths, combining the spiritual and mental in the traditional and classical form of hatha yoga. Graduates will leave training with the ability to teach a 55 minute Shanti Yoga stretch and tone Yoga class.
Course fees include 7 digital textbooks and study guides (covering topics such as Ayurvedic Cooking, Breathe for Health, and Eight Limbs of Yoga), 20 course tutorials and 10 digital course manuals, practice CDs/MP3s, a practice DVD/MP4, online study courses, a vocational Children's Yoga Teacher Training Course, life enhancement and personal development activities, psycho-spiritual residential weekend retreats (inclusive of shared accommodation, Ayurvedic vegetarian meals, programs, and yoga duties), weekly college yoga attendance, and miscellaneous items such as a Student ID Card, induction lunch, and Contact Diary. Your fees also provide for the administration of the College and other student services and activities. There are no hidden extras.
There are four intakes per year that align with Queensland school terms: January–February, April, July, and October. For online students, you can start anytime. On campus start dates for 2026 are 27 January, 20 April, 13 July, and 6 October.

The course covers a broad range of areas including yoga techniques and practice (asana, pranayama, kriyas, chanting, mantra, meditation), yoga humanities (history, philosophy, lifestyle, ethics, and traditional texts), Western and Vedic anatomy and physiology (including chakras, nadis, kundalini) and Ayurvedic health, yoga philosophy and psychology, teaching methodology (sequencing, cueing, class management, contraindications), and professional essentials such as communication skills, time management, and professional development. Practicum and assessments are also included to ensure practical readiness.
