Common Questions
To register students who intend to study at CET, you need to follow these steps: 1. Obtain an Agent ID, 2. Enrol your student or ask them to apply, 3. Application assessment, 4. Offers, and 5. Complete the authorisation form. You can use the Agent Portal, which is an online registration system for agents assisting students with their applications.
Current authorised agents will be ranked according to their performance and will receive either a one or three-year agreement dependent upon ranking. Performance will be based on student enrolments, relationship with students (including quality of counselling and advice), relationship with CET, and understanding of the enrolment process and the Department of Home Affairs regulations.
CET only pays commission once the student has commenced their program. In order to claim commission, agents must send through an invoice to the Finance Team at cet.finance@sydney.edu.au. A sample invoice is available to view on the CET website.
Once your agreement has expired, CET will send a new agreement via email which agents need to sign and return. Once this has been received, a certificate of representation will be sent to you. If CET does not receive the signed agreement, they will assume you no longer wish to represent CET.
To change agent authorisation, you need to complete the Change of Agent Authorisation form, which requires the new agency details (name, address, contact person, phone number) and the student's details as per passport (first name/s, family name, date of birth, CET reference number, email, and phone). The student must also sign a declaration confirming the appointment of the new agent. The completed form should be emailed to the Enrolments Team at cet.enrolments@sydney.edu.au.

Honestly I was lost when I first started looking at Australian colleges. There are just too many options and every agent gives you different info. A friend told me about FindTheCourses and within a week I had shortlisted 3 programs that actually matched my budget and visa situation. My advisor Sanjay was super helpful — never felt like I was being pushed into anything.
