The Doctor of Clinical Dentistry comprises approximately 25% coursework, 50% clinical specialist training, and 25% research over three years of full-time study.
The Selection Committee will rank applicants based on academic performance in previous studies, didactic teaching referee reports, published papers, and the interview.
Yes, confidential referee reports are required. Referees are asked to comment on attributes such as suitability for specialist practice, ability to conduct research, professional maturity and character, commitment to the preferred specialty, clinical skills, and aspirations and career goals.

Completed referee reports can be submitted by email to future-students@uwa.edu.au or by post to UWA Dental School Academic Services, Oral Health Centre of Western Australia, 17 Monash Avenue, Nedlands WA 6009. The referee report may also be submitted together with the application.
