The course will be based primarily at the Westmead Centre for Oral Health, with some sessions at the Sydney Dental Hospital.
Yes, you will be required to complete a research project in the field of prosthodontics or restorative dentistry, under the supervision of an academic staff member.
This course has a mandatory professional practice work component where, subject to contract with the Local Health District (LHD), you may be paid for some clinical sessions (conditions apply), once enrolled in the course.
You must meet one of the following: demonstrate English as your primary language (with qualifying education history in a recognised country), or achieve the required scores in an approved English language test. For IELTS, a minimum overall score of 7 and minimum score of 7 in each component is required. For PTE Academic, a minimum overall score of 72 is required (with specific section minimums). For TOEFL iBT, a minimum total score of 96 is required with specified section minimums. Tests must be completed within two years of the course commencement date.
Applications for the 2027 intake close on 4 May 2026. Applications open on 1 September, two years prior to the commencement year. Separate deadlines apply for scholarships.
