About This Course

This Joint PhD Program between Monash University and Southeast University (SEU) enables collaborative research between Monash and SEU researchers, so PhD students can draw upon the strengths of both universities and participate in collaborative research projects. The program typically takes three to four years of full-time study, with the bulk of studies undertaken at Monash Suzhou, China. Students also receive the benefit of the 'Australian experience', with one year of the program offered at the Monash campus in Australia. Students are jointly supervised by supervisors from both universities throughout their research, and those who successfully complete the joint program graduate with both a Monash and an SEU PhD degree.

Entry Requirements

General Requirements

Applicants must meet both SEU's Admission Requirements and Monash's minimum Academic Qualifications and English Language Proficiency for PhD admission.
