Course Overview

About This Course

Our new three-year course incorporates significant clinical, research, and professional work-integrated learning opportunities, providing hands-on experience with real clients throughout the course. The course emphasises a patient-centred and evidence-based approach to physiotherapy and healthcare, equipping you with the skills to practice in a variety of healthcare settings. You will also undertake clinical placements at urban public and private clinics and rural health settings as they provide supervised patient care.

Proof of identity: a valid passport (biodata page). Alternatively, an Australian birth certificate or Australian or New Zealand citizenship certificate for domestic students.
Current or final official academic transcripts and their official English translation copy if the original transcripts were issued in a language other than English.
Currently enrolled University of Sydney students do not need to provide a copy of their transcript(s).
Credit transcript(s) may be required if you were granted credit for studies previously undertaken.
Final testamur or proof of completion of your qualification and its official English translation copy if it was issued in a language other than English.
Proof of English proficiency (e.g. IELTS, TOEFL results) where required.
For courses with mandatory prerequisites, official detailed unit outlines for all prerequisite units in your studies which you believe will meet the prerequisite requirements.
An accepted degree must be either: a) a bachelor's degree, master's degree or PhD degree accredited under the Australian Qualifications Framework from an Australian university or self-accrediting higher education institution; or b) a bachelor's degree, master's degree or PhD degree from an overseas university listed in the National Office of Overseas Skills Recognition Guide, provided that the degree is equivalent to an Australian bachelor's, master's degree or PhD degree under the Australian Qualifications Framework.
Completing an accepted degree: provide all pages of your penultimate official academic transcript, with no more than 1 semester (0.5 FTE/24 credit points USYD equivalent) pending results.
No deferrals are permitted for the Graduate Entry Master programs.
