You will undertake clinical placements at urban public and private clinics and rural health settings where you provide supervised patient care. The course incorporates significant clinical, research, and professional work-integrated learning opportunities, providing hands-on experience with real clients throughout the course.
Domestic applications open on 1 July of the preceding year and close on 31 October of the preceding year. A small number of rolling offers are released to applicants with high academic merit, with main offers released between December and January.
International applications open on 15 April of the preceding year and close on 31 July of the preceding year. Offers are made throughout the year based on academic merit and subject to availability in the program.
Yes, with your final year electives you can tailor the course to your specific interests in physiotherapy and health. Some of these may include subjects like Pharmacology of Pain Medicine, Diabetes Management, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Pain in Children and Pain in Older People.
The majority of the Graduate Entry Master offers are full fee-paying places. There may be a small number of Commonwealth Supported Places (CSP) available and these are allocated on the basis of academic merit. Domestic students may also be eligible for the NSW Health Tertiary Health Study Subsidy Program.
