English Unlimited offers two levels of EAP courses: EAP A for Advanced level students and EAP B for Upper Intermediate level students. Students completing EAP A graduate with Advanced English equivalent to an IELTS score of 6.5–7.5, while EAP B graduates achieve Upper Intermediate English equivalent to an IELTS score of 6.0.
The EAP course develops skills including research, essay-writing, oral presentations and tutorial participation. The course structure includes grammar and vocabulary training for academic essays and reports, training in referencing and creating annotated bibliographies, reading training for research, analysis and text summarisation, and speaking, listening and pronunciation training to present, lead discussions and meetings, and participate in debates.
Each EAP course is flexible in duration, ranging from 5 to 26 weeks. The maximum fee is $300 per week, though fees can vary depending on the amount of study weeks and campus location. You can contact your Agent or access the Live Chat for more specific pricing information.
There are two main study options available: Option 1 is Day (4 days) Classes held Monday to Thursday from 8:30AM to 2:00PM, and Option 2 is Evening Classes held Monday to Thursday from 4:00PM to 9:30PM. There are also additional Plus Classes available on Fridays from 8:30AM to 12:40PM.
EAP is offered at three levels with the following English language entry requirements: EAP A requires completion of Upper-intermediate level, EAP B requires completion of Intermediate level, and EAP C requires completion of Pre-intermediate level. Prior to starting EAP C, students are required to be at Intermediate level. Entry can be determined by submitting an English certificate or by completing a placement test.
