Common Questions
The English for Academic Purposes course has a total duration of 30 weeks, comprising three levels — Intermediate, Upper Intermediate, and Advanced — each with 10 weeks duration, with a minimum enrolment of 10 weeks.
To enrol in the English for Academic Purposes course, students must complete an entry level test, be 18 years and above, and have satisfactorily completed year 11 or equivalent.
Students will learn written and spoken English for everyday situations, communicate with other students in the classroom and in real situations on class excursion projects, learn to speak and write accurately, fluently and clearly, extend vocabulary and develop cross-cultural communication skills, and use English to help enjoy living, working, or travelling in Australia.
