The EAP course consists of two levels (EAP Level 1 and EAP Level 2), each running for 10 weeks of study, making a total of 20 weeks. Tuition fees are AU$4,500 per term (per level), with an additional Resource Fee of $250 per term.
To enter EAP Level 1, students need an IELTS Band 5.0 with no band less than 4.5. To enter EAP Level 2, students need an IELTS Band 5.5 with no band less than 5.0. Alternatively, students can achieve a satisfactory result in an ELICOS placement test. Successful completion of PCBT's Intermediate level General English course will also permit admission to EAP Level 1.
The EAP course develops four macro skills: Reading (including building reading speed, understanding text organisation, and extracting relevant information), Writing (including essay planning, note taking, referencing, and summary writing), Listening (including understanding lectures and seminars, extracting main points, and recording relevant information), and Speaking (including oral presentations, leading discussions, and expressing opinions). Students also develop learning strategies, research skills, and an understanding of the Australian tertiary education system.
This qualification is designed for those wanting to enter into a Vocational or Tertiary Education and Training courses such as a Degree, Graduate Diploma, Advanced Diploma, or Diploma. EAP Level 2 takes students to CEF level B2+ (IELTS 6), equipping them with the necessary English language skills required for academic study at university or other tertiary level institutions.
The EAP course is delivered face to face in the classroom only, for 20 hours per week. Teaching methods include teacher directed and student-centred learning, with delivery flexible to accommodate different learning styles, cultures and needs. A combination of the following delivery methods is used: presentations, discussions, role-plays, oral presentations, individual and group instruction, audio visual materials, web-based research, online activities and independent research. Students use authentic materials together with materials prepared specifically for language learning.

Honestly I was lost when I first started looking at Australian colleges. There are just too many options and every agent gives you different info. A friend told me about FindTheCourses and within a week I had shortlisted 3 programs that actually matched my budget and visa situation. My advisor Sanjay was super helpful — never felt like I was being pushed into anything.
