In the EAP course, you will develop skills such as effective essay-writing, joining class discussions, giving presentations, referencing, speed-reading, and effective note-taking, all tailored to the expectations of studying in an English-speaking academic environment in Australia.
Student Visa holders must attend face-to-face classes at the Cairns Campus for 20 hours per week plus additional study options. Tourist and Working Holiday Visa holders can choose face-to-face classes at the Cairns Campus, or a flexible option combining 20 hours of daytime face-to-face classes and/or virtual evening classes — suitable for students who are working or visiting local attractions.
The school provides Study Clubs including Conversation club, Presentation club, IELTS speaking club, Song club, Games club, and Cambridge Exam club. Students can also access YouSTUDY English Online resources for self-study, available both in the study centre and on most personal devices.
