The aim of the Extended Foundation Program is to equip students with the skills and capabilities to enter the tertiary sector. Upon successful completion of the program, students will gain entry, but not credit, to a tertiary level program of study.
Students entering the program must demonstrate successful completion of Australian Year 11 or a comparable education level, and attainment of English language proficiency equivalent to an IELTS score of 5.5 overall, with a minimum of 5.0 in each macro skill.
No. Upon successful completion of the Extended Foundation Program, students will gain entry to a tertiary level program of study, but they will not receive any academic credit towards that program.
