The AIM Education Foundation is an initiative of the Australian Institute of Music, created with a singular vision to support the development of a professional Australian music industry by funding scholarship and mentorship programs. Its goal is to enable equitable access to music education and career opportunities regardless of race, religion, gender or financial capacity.
The Justin Cosby Scholarship was established in honour of Justin Cosby, co-founder of Inertia Music, with funding from his family, business associates and friends. It provides two thirds of the cost of the degree — which is $45,000 — plus mentoring and internship opportunities for one domestic student per year to undertake a Bachelor of Music Business. A maximum of $45,000 will be awarded for the course.
Scholarship applications are reviewed once an applicant has accepted a place in the Bachelor of Music Business, or a Bachelor of Music (Music Business) degree. You can email the student recruitment team for more information at the provided AIM contact email address.
The AIM Education Foundation has three key projects: the General Support Fund, which provides academic scholarships and/or cost of living support for students of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander descent, students facing financial hardship, rural and remote students, and gifted and talented students; the Instrument Acquisition Program, which provides funding for the acquisition and maintenance of quality musical instruments; and Special Purpose Scholarships, which are created to honour the legacy of outstanding individuals in the music industry and may include bespoke mentorship and internship activities.
Yes, you can make a tax-deductible donation to the Justin Cosby Scholarship. The AIM Foundation solicits donations from private philanthropy, family foundations and other funding bodies to support this and other scholarship programs.

Honestly I was lost when I first started looking at Australian colleges. There are just too many options and every agent gives you different info. A friend told me about FindTheCourses and within a week I had shortlisted 3 programs that actually matched my budget and visa situation. My advisor Sanjay was super helpful — never felt like I was being pushed into anything.
