Common Questions
Yes, the program is free to all learners. It is fully funded by RMIT and open to anyone 16 years old and above.
No prior coding knowledge, skills or experience is required. The program is designed to welcome complete beginners.
You do not need to bring your own equipment. A MacBook and iPhone are loaned to participants for the duration of the program.
To apply, you must complete an online application with your personal details and submit a selection task. The selection task asks you to tell us about a significant mistake you made, how you recovered from it, and what you have learned from the experience. You can respond creatively — as a collage, illustration, short video (no more than 2 minutes), or written response — uploaded as a PDF attachment. Your submission will be assessed on the quality of your reflection ability, storytelling approach, communication skills, and the effort and creativity put in.
The program is open to a broad range of cohort groups, including existing RMIT students who may be interested in further study in this field, high school students, and women who are interested in exploring career options in STEM. By targeting learners from underrepresented groups, the program aims to broaden and diversify the pool of talent in the tech sector.

Honestly I was lost when I first started looking at Australian colleges. There are just too many options and every agent gives you different info. A friend told me about FindTheCourses and within a week I had shortlisted 3 programs that actually matched my budget and visa situation. My advisor Sanjay was super helpful — never felt like I was being pushed into anything.
