Common Questions
The General English course has 4 levels: Elementary (CEFRL Level A2), Pre-Intermediate (CEFRL Level B1), Intermediate (CEFRL Level B1+), and Upper-Intermediate (CEFRL Level B2). These levels are equal to the international standard levels described in the Common European Framework of Reference of Languages (CEFRL).
An average student takes 10–15 weeks to complete each level of the General English course.
Assessments are conducted weekly on a Thursday to test your progress. You will be given feedback on your learning – your strengths and weaknesses – and advice on how you can improve.
Day classes run Monday to Thursday from 8:45am to 2:45pm. Each day consists of three lessons: Lesson 1 from 8:45am–10:45am, a break from 10:45am–11:00am, Lesson 2 from 11:00am–1:00pm, lunch from 1:00pm–1:45pm, and Lesson 3 from 1:45pm–2:45pm, totalling 5 hours of study per day and 20 hours per week.
The General English course is designed to help you improve your grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, reading, writing, listening and speaking. The course is practical, giving you lots of opportunities to practise what you are learning in real life situations, using a student-centred approach and international standard textbooks and materials.

Honestly I was lost when I first started looking at Australian colleges. There are just too many options and every agent gives you different info. A friend told me about FindTheCourses and within a week I had shortlisted 3 programs that actually matched my budget and visa situation. My advisor Sanjay was super helpful — never felt like I was being pushed into anything.
