Common Questions
The General English program is offered at six levels: Starter, Elementary, Pre-Intermediate, Intermediate, Upper-Intermediate, and Advanced, catering to students from non-English speaking backgrounds across all proficiency levels.
Each course is structured as a 10-week block. Students progress to the next level based on satisfactory completion of a block of study. In order to progress, students need to submit their assessments, attend a minimum of 20 hours per week of classes, and actively participate in group activities.
To enrol in the General English course at Lawson College Australia, students must be over 18 years of age and must provide evidence that their visa provides the appropriate study entitlements.
The tuition fee for the General English course is $180 per week. Delivery intakes are available in January, April, July, and October, with course durations ranging from 10 to 70 weeks (including scheduled breaks).
Students will learn to write essays and reports, give presentations, communicate with confidence in English, research and reference, study independently, develop grammar and vocabulary, and synthesise ideas through classroom activities and excursions. Individual learning plans may also be offered to students who require extra support.

Honestly I was lost when I first started looking at Australian colleges. There are just too many options and every agent gives you different info. A friend told me about FindTheCourses and within a week I had shortlisted 3 programs that actually matched my budget and visa situation. My advisor Sanjay was super helpful — never felt like I was being pushed into anything.
