General English

The General English program at QUT College helps students achieve the English level they need, particularly for those who didn't meet the English requirements for university study or who simply want to improve their English skills.

QUT College is located at QUT's Kelvin Grove campus, just 3km from Brisbane's city centre. Students have access to dedicated study pods, outdoor recreation areas including table tennis, communal dining areas with fully equipped kitchens, and full access to university libraries, learning spaces, services, student activities and facilities.

Yes, QUT College offers an English Concession scholarship which provides a 25% tuition fee reduction for English for Academic Purposes programs.

Students benefit from small class sizes and dedicated support advisers to help make the transition to study easy and stress-free. Outside of the classroom, students can access additional learning and language support, as well as cultural and social activities.

QUT College offers a free on-campus English entry test for students who are applying to their English language and pathway programs, helping determine the appropriate course level for each student.
