About This Course

Our teachers' goal is to engage you through up-to-date and fun activities that allow you to start "living" the language from your first class. Week by week you will increase your confidence in your own English and feel more and more comfortable using it outside the classroom. After all, you don't learn English to use it in a classroom, you learn it to use in the real world. Each level of the course runs for 12 weeks with each week focusing on a different use of the language. You will be immersed in English with 20 hours of face-to-face classes each week. You will learn how to communicate in different English situations as well as building fluency through communicative and task-based activities. Every week will get you a step closer to mastering English.

How long does each level of the General English course run?

Each level of the course runs for 12 weeks, with each week focusing on a different use of the language. The overall course duration is up to 65 weeks.

How many hours of class will I have each week?

You will be immersed in English with 20 hours of face-to-face classes each week, held over 4 days — Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday — with day and night timetable options available.

What kind of support is available to international students?

Support for international students starts on day one with a special orientation day. Throughout the course, students have access to dedicated academic coordinators for questions, level adjustments, and learning progress. The school also offers a Job Ready Program and a Job Placement Program to help students secure their first job in Australia.

Does the school organise activities outside the classroom?

Yes, excursion days and fun activities are organised on a regular basis so that students are able to mix and meet each other and also get to see some beautiful parts of the city.

Is public transport easily accessible from the campus?

Yes, the college is located in Surfers Paradise where the tram (called "G:Link") has numerous stations and stops located nearby. The trams run every 7 minutes on weekdays and every 10 minutes during the weekend. Local bus services are also available with bus stops within easy walking distance.
