Common Questions
The General English course is split into five levels: Elementary, Pre-intermediate, Intermediate, Upper-intermediate, and Advanced. Students will have acquired specific skills and competencies upon completing each level, ranging from basic conversational ability at Elementary through to near-native fluency at Advanced.
The course fees are $350 per week for tuition, a one-off enrolment fee of $300, and a material fee of $10 per week. Please note these fees are subject to change without notice, and it is recommended to contact the institution for a quote for your proposed course duration.
Assessment will vary every week and may include reading, writing, listening or speaking tests, oral presentations, role plays, writing summaries, writing dialogues, and more. All students will receive a certificate upon successful completion of their course.
General English is used daily for communication with friends, family, and coworkers, and its learners frequently use simple, valuable vocabulary for everyday communication. Academic English, in contrast, is used in educational settings such as universities and research papers — it is a more formal language used to express complex ideas and arguments, with more intricate, precise, and technical grammar and register.
Classes start every Monday and are available in morning, afternoon, or evening sessions. Students can attend for between 4 and 60 weeks, which includes up to 50 weeks of study and 10 weeks of holidays. Please note that all courses and levels may not be available for every session time.

Honestly I was lost when I first started looking at Australian colleges. There are just too many options and every agent gives you different info. A friend told me about FindTheCourses and within a week I had shortlisted 3 programs that actually matched my budget and visa situation. My advisor Sanjay was super helpful — never felt like I was being pushed into anything.
