The General English course has a maximum duration of 50 weeks, with 10 weeks allocated for each of the five levels (Elementary, Pre-Intermediate, Intermediate, Upper-Intermediate and Advanced). Within a 50-week enrolment duration, a student can complete up to five levels.
All students will be given a comprehensive Placement Test before commencing their first class in the General English course to ensure they are placed in the appropriate English class level. The Placement Test assesses all four macro key skills: reading, writing, speaking and listening.
Every two weeks, students must complete a Progress Test, after which the teacher will provide feedback and tips for improvement. Every five weeks, students must complete a Skills Test assessing the development of listening, reading, writing, and speaking. To progress to the next level, students must complete 10 study weeks at the required level, achieve 65% or above in the Skills Test, and meet the attendance requirement.
Student attendance must never fall below 80%, as falling below this threshold is considered a breach of visa conditions. Attendance for a day is only counted if the student attends the full scheduled duration of classes. Failure to comply with the attendance requirements may result in the implementation of attendance intervention strategies and cancellation of enrolment.
The General English course fee for the maximum 50-week duration is A$15,000.00, which equates to A$300.00 per week. The CRICOS code for this course is 111217D.

Honestly I was lost when I first started looking at Australian colleges. There are just too many options and every agent gives you different info. A friend told me about FindTheCourses and within a week I had shortlisted 3 programs that actually matched my budget and visa situation. My advisor Sanjay was super helpful — never felt like I was being pushed into anything.
