The General English course offers six levels: Starter, Elementary, Pre-Intermediate, Intermediate, Upper-Intermediate, and Advanced. You can determine your entry level by participating in the ALC placement test or by providing evidence of your IELTS score — ranging from 2.5 for Starter up to 5.0 for Advanced.
There are four timetable options available: Morning Class (Monday to Friday, 8:00am–12:30pm), Afternoon Class (Monday to Friday, 12:30pm–16:45pm), Evening Class (Monday to Friday, 16:45pm–21:00pm), and Weekend Class (Saturday to Sunday, 9:00am–8:30pm).
The syllabus includes three summative tests — in Weeks 4, 8, and 12. The tests are designed to check the overall academic progress of a student and whether or not learner objectives have been achieved.
At the end of the course or upon exit, students may receive a Certificate of Completion, a Certificate of Partial Completion, or a Certificate of Attendance, depending on their situation.
The course is priced at $200 per week (or $220 per week, valid until end of June 2026). New intakes begin every Monday, allowing students to enrol and commence at a time that suits them.

Honestly I was lost when I first started looking at Australian colleges. There are just too many options and every agent gives you different info. A friend told me about FindTheCourses and within a week I had shortlisted 3 programs that actually matched my budget and visa situation. My advisor Sanjay was super helpful — never felt like I was being pushed into anything.
