Sunbeam offers six levels for a total duration of 70 weeks, each consisting of 10 weeks of study: Starter Level (Beginners), Elementary (IELTS level 4.0 or equivalent), Pre-Intermediate (IELTS 4.5 or equivalent), Intermediate (IELTS 5.0 or equivalent), Upper Intermediate (IELTS 5.5 or equivalent), and Advanced (IELTS 6.0 or equivalent).
The course fees are AUD $3,000 per level, with an enrolment fee of AUD $500 and material fees of AUD $150 per level.
A minimum of 80% attendance must be met for the General English (ELICOS) course at Sunbeam International College.
Students will be assessed on Reading, Writing, Speaking, and Listening. Based on their level of English, students will learn to write essays and reports, prepare and conduct presentations, communicate with confidence in English, research and reference, study independently, develop grammar and vocabulary, and create ideas based on classroom activities and excursions.
Once you have successfully completed your General English course, you can enter certificate and/or diploma courses offered by Sunbeam, and gear up for Vocational and Educational Training in English, in Australia or beyond.
