The General English course at Milner College offers levels for every student, including Beginner, Elementary, Pre-Intermediate, Intermediate, Upper-Intermediate, and Advanced.
The course runs Monday to Thursday with both daytime and evening options. Full-time daytime classes run from 9:00 a.m. to 3:15 p.m., and full-time evening classes run from 4:30 p.m. to 9:45 p.m. Part-time daytime classes run from 9:00 a.m. to 12:15 p.m., and part-time evening classes run from 4:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Before you begin your course, all new students receive an online placement test to ensure you're placed in the right class with students at a similar level.
You can start any Monday and the minimum course length is just one week, with courses available for up to 48 weeks, making it flexible for both short-term visitors and longer-term students.
Yes, the full-time General English option, which involves studying 20 hours per week, is described as perfect for student visa holders or those seeking fast, intensive progress. The part-time option is described as a great option for tourists or casual learners.
