The course CRICOS Code is 098010K. Each level is delivered over 10 weeks of study, structured as two five-week terms with two study breaks in between, making each level approximately 14 weeks in total. There are two levels covered under this course: Pre-Intermediate and Intermediate.
The tuition fees for this course are AUD $2,725 per term.
Classes are conducted over three days per week with approximately seven hours of study per day, from 8:30am to 4:30pm (or 4:40pm). Elementary classes run Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday; Pre-Intermediate classes run Thursday, Friday and Saturday; and Intermediate classes run Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
Assessments are conducted through observation, written and verbal tests, projects, portfolios and case studies. Assessment occurs weekly to ensure you are progressing in your English development, with summative assessments taking place at the end of each term to mark your progress. Activities may also include unit tests, progress tests and reviews, and portfolio development.
The course is open to all nationalities from offshore and onshore applying for Student Visa 500, as well as all nationalities with a Student visa, Tourist visa, Work & Holiday Visa, Working Holiday Visa, Business or Investment Visas, and Dependents of Work Visa Holders, provided they are 18 years of age and above at the time of course commencement.
