The General English course has six proficiency levels: Beginner, Elementary, Pre-Intermediate, Intermediate, Upper-Intermediate, and Advanced. Each level runs for 10 weeks, making the total course duration 60 weeks.
Students will be given fortnightly formative assessments and mid-term and end-of-term summative assessments. Students will be assessed in all four macro skills (reading, writing, speaking, and listening) throughout the assessments.
The IELTS score requirements per level are as follows: Beginner (below 3.5), Elementary (3.5), Pre-Intermediate (4.0), Intermediate (4.5), Upper-Intermediate (5.0), and Advanced (5.5). Students with a valid IELTS certificate must provide their overall score, ensuring no individual band score is less than 0.5 from the overall result. If a student's individual result is less than 1.0 from the overall result, they will be eligible to enrol in the level below.
Upon completing each level, students will exit at the following CEFR levels: Beginner (A1), Elementary (A2), Pre-Intermediate (B1), Intermediate (B1+), Upper-Intermediate (B2), and Advanced (B2+).
Yes, there are two weeks of scheduled breaks during the Christmas and New Year's holidays. Intakes also do not occur during this holiday period.

Honestly I was lost when I first started looking at Australian colleges. There are just too many options and every agent gives you different info. A friend told me about FindTheCourses and within a week I had shortlisted 3 programs that actually matched my budget and visa situation. My advisor Sanjay was super helpful — never felt like I was being pushed into anything.
